Hullo everyone!!

Yes, I am back from many, many long and grueling months of training. I graduated bootcamp at Parris Island, South Carolina November 21, 2012. From there I went to my combat training in North Carolina. I was held from training for the whole month of December because of the holidays. There was a BIG group of male Marines with me as well. So, I wasn't the only one standing by but, I was the only female there. I graduated combat school around the beginning of Feburary (sorry I don't remember the exact date.) After that I went to my MOS (Marine Occupational Specialty) it's basically training for my job. I am a 3051 which is Supply Admin. That was also in North Carolina so I didn't have to go very far to go there. I graduted from there in the beginning of March. Now I reside at my duty station in Camp Pendleton, California. It's an hour north of San Diego. It's beautiful there, I LOVE it!

So the reason why I was gone for so long and was never on here is because I left my laptop with my dad and little brother to keep for a while until I went to my duty station. Right now I am home for about 12 days so I got to have it back with me and now it shall never part with me 

Unfortunately, due to the fact that I don't have as much time on my hands as I used to I will not be posting any art on here. Plus, I do not have a copy machine/printer to do so anyways. I volunteer at a rescue horse ranch on the weekends, I'm trying to go back to school and I have a full time job.

Soooo... How is everyone? Anything new?

Anyways, (may contain spoliers. Don't say I did NOT warn you) I died at the end of UMAP.
It's not what you think though. I didn't die because she didn't get with Francouer....
I died because of what she said to Raoul. God help me, I think I'm in love with Raoul........

I'm sorry! I just can't help it. I don't know what it is about him honestly.
I really think it might have to do with the fact that he actually likes Francouer and he helps him.

Overall though I LOVED the movie but, it was wayyy too short it seemed?
I don't know, maybe I was just enjoying it too much.
Also did anyone notice that the lady that's with Lucille a lot is named Carlotta?! -----_______-----

I have been wanting a drawing like this for while now. It's something that represents what I'm about to do: become a U.S. Marine.
Basically, I wanted a picture that's Phantom related with me in it.
Erik could be like overlooking with his arms out, then below him have me standing there singing in a red dress, then below that one have another "me" standing there in a Marine Corps uniform.

So yeah I know it's a big request but, I'm hoping and praying someone out there can do this favor for me. I would really love it if someone did.

What it represents: I've always been a POTO Phan since 2009. That's when I actually understood everything about it. I found out about it when I was really young, I wanna say I was 5? My mother and father were watching the 2004 movie version but, then didn't let me see it cause they thought it would have been too scary for me. POTO got me into music and singing and the musical version got me into Broadway.

Unfortunately, in the U.S. Marine Corps there is NO chorus. The other branches have one except them. The reason for this is because the USMC branches off the Navy (also the USMC is not their very own department yet like the Navy, Air Force, and Army. That's why they don't have their own seal), so the Navy has a chorus and they don't. So I am not able to further my studies with chorus. I cannot even further my studies in singing either and this is why: Going to bootcamp is going to change my WHOLE body, voice and all. I am going to be screaming at the top of my lungs during bootcamp which is going to ruin my voice. My voice has actually already been ruined from going there for a mini trip with my Navy JROTC unit. When I came back, I let my voice heal for a week. Then I started singing again and noticed a differenceBut, I can study music and dancing, which is something I have also loved so dearly. Also, in the USMC a lot of the men and women smoke (I do not know why military personel love to smoke), so it's going to be everywhere in the air. That will also ruin my voice. Drinking will do the trick too especially since we can drink on base (even if you're 18) so I am told.

This is where Erik also comes in. My darling Angel of Music, guide and guardian. Erik being in the drawing means that he's letting go of me for I can no longer sing for him. He is signing me over to the Devil Dogs (another name for Marine's that was given to them by the Germans back in WWII.) I serve them now. Me singing (in the drawing) was my younger years when that was all I ever loved doing and could do. The "me" in the Marine Corps uniform would be the new me.

So I really, really hope someone can do this for me. Something for a future U.S. verteran? PWEEEEEEEAAASSEEEEE!?!?!
Anyways, do not feel bad for me though, this is my fate and my dream. This is going to be my new life. I have a little saying:
"When I step foot onto that island the Devil Dogs will tear me to shreds and kill me. From there they will pick up those little pieces and start to build me back up and bring me back to life. The unwanted pieces of my flesh will be left behind for they are part of my past. I will rise as the same person with a different heart, a different purpose and that purpose is a United States Marine."

For bootcamp I will be going to the famous, Parris Island, in South Carolina.

Now in bootcamp, males give their rifles a female's name and females give their rifles a male's name.
Our rifles are M16s, if you've ever seen one or just look them up on google.
Basically, that's the only "lovin'" we'll be getting from the opposite sex during our 3 months there.
Yes, Marine Corps bootcamp is VERY,VERY long.

Of course... I already have a name for my new "man"
And I'm pretty sure everyone here would know exactly what the name will be too.
